Children & Youths Emancipation Network
Children and Youths Emancipation Network (CYEN) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2004 to promote community based humanitarian services through mobilizing funds for community development, tackling HIV prevalence and providing care and support for the vulnerable population within her target society.
Legal Status
CYEN is registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Welfare.

OUR AIMS &OBJECTIVES
- To reach out to the vulnerable population through secular education and mobilize community partnership in providing care and support for key population.
- To introduce and promote poverty alleviation programme for youths and out-of-school children and organised capacity building seminars and workshop for the unemployed youths.
- To sensitize the target population on any outbreak of diseases.
- To educate the society on HIV prevention and ways to reduce the rate of new infections.
- To introduce income generating activities for the unemployed youths and widows.
- To carry out community dialogue on malaria prevention and treatment.
- To conduct cancer eradication activities in the communities
